Don’t let anything or anyone rush you, actress, Tana Adelana shares Friday Inspirational Quote

Award-winning actress, Tana Egbo-Adelana, on Friday went inspirational when she posted two pictures of her awards she recently received.

According to her, she always thought something was wrong with her, at some point in her life because she wasn’t doing things at the pace of my peers.

However, with happenings in her life in the last one year, she has come to realise that her life has been mapped out from birth, and she had her own race to run, and at her own pace.

The mother of two, urged fans not to allow anyone to rush them, adding “that is the easiest way to make the gravest mistakes.”

She wrote: “This post I hope will speak to a few people. I’m not one to speak too much on SM but I figured there are a lot of people like me.

“At some point in my life, I thought something was wrong with me cos I wasn’t doing things at the pace of my peers.

“When I decided to pay a little attention to who I really am, to God and to my work, I realised that my life has been mapped out from the word Go.

“I realised that I was more of a starter. I always had great ideas but I needed to get help most times to finish up, I had my own race, I had my own pace and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. To the point of this post.

“A lot can change in your life in so little time but “little time” is what God sees as that. Remember, a thousand years can be a split second for God and your story is sweeter when God truly blesses you, whether it happens in a day, a year, a decade or several decades.

“It’s ok to work diligently at your pace. Don’t let anything or anyone rush you, that’s the easiest way to make the gravest mistakes. It’s important to know that no one can love you more than God does, and in His time, He makes everything beautiful.

“The last year of my life has been very beautiful (the things I post here and those I don’t) and I know it’s not by my power or might but by His Grace.”

Tana’s first feature-length movie was Two Brides and a Baby in 2011. Though, producer, Kayode Peters was the person who her first opportunity in the industry in 2005. However, her breakthrough projects came when she featured in Single and Married, and The Kingdom.

Tana is a graduate of Urban and Regional Planning, University of Lagos and special executive master’s certificate in Leadership and Management from the Metropolitan School of Business and Management, the United Kingdom is the last of 10 children.
