The nipples are vital part of the female body. Do you know that there are certain things your nipples can tell you about your health? Most times what happens in our bodies, show on the outside.

Here is 3things your nipples say about your health:

1. Nipple discharge: This isn’t only exclusive to breastfeeding mothers. Usually, you may notice some discharge if the nipple is squeezed. However, it becomes a source of concern if you see this when you aren’t squeezing or if the discharge coming out is bloody and/or comes from just one breast. Do we’ll to visit your doctor as this may be a symptom of a harmless cyst or breast cancer

2. Itchy nipples: If you notice that your nipples are itchy, scaly or have flakes, it may be caused by chafing when exercising. You can prevent it by wearing a well-fitting sports bra. However, if you notice these symptoms when you don’t engage in vigorous activity, it may be a sign of Paget’s disease, a rare form of cancer. It could also be eczema, so ensure you pay your doctor a visit.

3. Hairy nipples: Having hair on your nipples can seem strange but it’s usually nothing to worry about. You may pluck or wax them out carefully. But if the hair follicles become painful or itchy, then it is likely to be an infection
