Actress, screenwriter, and producer, Uche Jombo- Rodriguez’s is 39 today.

Uche was born on December 28, 1979, in Abia State.

She is a graduate of the University of Calabar where she bagged a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. She also received a degree in Computer Programming from the Federal University of Technology Minna.

She made her entry into Nollywood in 1999, when she featured in the movie, Visa to Hell

Uche Jombo released her first production in 2011. The movie was titled, ‘Damaged’ and it premiered at the Silverbird Cinemas, Lagos on the 31st of July.

She has won many awards, including:

Best Actress at the AfroHollywood Awards – UK in 2008; Best Supporting Actress at the 2010 Best of Nollywood Awards for her role in the movie, Silent Scandals, Best Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards, Best Actress Leading Role at the 2013 Africa International Film Festival forr her role in the movie, Lies Men Tell, and many more.

She was a Glo Ambassador for three years

She is married to a Puerto Rican, Kenney Rodriguez and they are blessed with a son, Matthew.

The actress has a house in her home state (Abia) and one in the Lekki area of Lagos. According to a source, the house in Lekki is located around Alpha Beach Road after the Lekki second gate.
