Nollywood actress, director and businesswoman, Mercy Aigbe is plus one today.

Born on January 1, 1978, in Benin City, Edo State, the mother of two clocks 40.

The fashion icon has been celebrating her special day in unique ways.

She took to her Instagram page to post stunning new pictures while wishing herself well in the coming years.

She wrote: “On this Day! Several years ago, a QUEEN was born, she is Strong, Dogged, a goal getter, yet with the purest of hearts!!…… She reigns supreme on her throne!….. Her Crown is heavy but she wears it gracefully as if it were a feather, there is strength in her heart, the determination in her eyes, and the will to survive resides within her soul, she is me, a warrior, a fighter, an Amazon, HER ROYAL MAJESTY, QUEEN M……..Happy Birthday to me.”

Mercy holds a ordinary national diploma (OND) certificate in financial studies from Polytechnic, Ibadan.

Her love for acting grew from when she was in the secondary school where she was part of the drama group.

She also studied theatre arts from the University of Lagos in 2001, and made her debut in Nollywood in 2006, in a film titled ‘Ara.’

She has since taken part in countless movies, TV series and even won many awards for her prowess in the industry.
