Actress, Bimbo Akintola extols Banky W for stepping up for change

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bimbo Akintola has praised singer and politician, Banky W, for stepping up to prove that change is possible.

Banky defiled all odds and contested for a House of Representative seat, Saturday’s election, for Eti-Osa constituency, under the platform of a relatively new party, Modern Democratic Party (MDP).

According to the 48-year-old, win or lose, Banky remains her hero and winner forever.

In an Instagram post on her page on Monday, the 93 Days star actress chided those who like to talk and do nothing, adding that Nigeria cannot miraculously get better if all are not involved.

“I have so much respect for, so much pride in this young man. He didn’t sit at home moaning about the state of this country, he got up and proved change is possible. Win or lose @bankywellington you are my hero. You thought of how to change this country and took a step, a stand. You proved that real change IS possible.

“For those of you who like to talk and do nothing, A BIG SHAME ON YOU! You think Nigeria will miraculously get better? No! Nigeria ?? needs us. Treat this country right and it will become the best! Sit and say your vote means nothing and you are nothing. I’m saying this because I am tired of our lethargy when it comes to taking a stand for our future, our children’s future.

“Banky, You are my winner forever… ku ise. Thank you.” She wrote.
