Theatre drama lovers should be geared up to having a splendid time for this Easter period as Thespian Family Theatre & Productions is all set to thrill audiences of all ages and interests with Ayo Jaiyesimi’s ITAN – The story.

Inspired by the need to resolve generational tensions and triggered conversations on Generational Diversity, ITAN – The Story, is a masterful showcase of Nigerian dance, drama, music and culture enmeshed in an epic story that transcends generations.

The stage performance which is scheduled to hold from the 20th to the 22nd of April 2019 at the AGIP Hall of the MUSON Centre, will be featured with 8 shows spanning the entire period.

The concept will be brought to life by an interesting line-up of casts in the persons of Henry Arnold, Nissi George, Omololu Shodiya, Efe Awusa, Efe Mayford, Omowunmi Dada and Broda Shaggi, who are all favourites to a diverse audience and widely known for their impeccable delivery.

In the words of Mrs Ayo Jaiyesimi, “The play, ITAN, is an epic narration of trans-generational disparities featuring interesting twists towards a smooth transition between eras. With time personified, the story has been carefully weaved to take the audience on a creative ride from the past to the present and emerging future. It is sure to wow the audience and further propel ongoing conversations on knowledge retention, the emerging digital space and how life, work, spaces and communities would change over the coming years.

According to Mr Rufai Ladipo, the MD/CEO of Agile Communications Limited – the official marketing and communications agency for the show, “As customary with performances by the Thespian Family, this play promises to be an event of utmost value for viewers and investors alike. While show goers will be dazzled with intriguing displays by the amazing cast, sponsors and partners benefit from amazing offers ranging from enhanced publicity, exclusive viewing and customised stories, all depending on the sponsorship categories subscribed to, which include platinum, gold, silver and bronze.”

Tickets are available at the MUSON Centre, Quintessence, Terra Kulture, the KONA & Genesis Cinemas, or online at the Naija Ticketshop, Ariiyatickets, All Africa Events & kusanta.com.
