Message To Women: Conquer your stormy days – Georgina Onuoha

March 31,2019
Share:

Nollywood actress and turned nurse, Georgina Onuoha who is always dishing out what she feels about various issues on social media has again used her life story to encourage other women out there to stay strong and never give up during their stormy days.

Hear her: “I have seen many storms in my life. Most storms have caught me by surprise, so I had to learn very quickly to look further and understand that I am not capable of controlling the weather, to exercise the art of patience and to respect the fury of nature. I have been strong yet most often I feel weak from fears of navigating this storm called life. In my deepest reflections, I’ve come to understand that even a happy life cannot be without a measure of darkness, and the word happy would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness. It is far better to take things as they come along with patience and equanimity.
So I’m learning the art of patience, gratitude, fortitude and contentment. May they always be my guide through any storm. Learn to navigate through your storms,” she said.

In solidarity with March as The International Women’s month, the single mother of two added: “I made broken look beautiful and strong look invincible but I have walked with the Universe on my shoulders and made it
look like a pair of wings. I believe in strong women. I believe in the woman who is able to stand up for herself. I believe in the woman who doesn’t need to hide behind her husband’s back. I believe that if you have problems, as a woman you deal with them, you don’t play victim, you don’t make yourself look pitiful, you don’t point fingers. You stand and you deal. You face the world with a head held high and you carry the universe in your heart,” she advised.
