Kemi Adetiba celebrates mum, Engr. Mrs. Mayen Adetiba on birthday
Filmmaker, Kemi Adetiba has been celebrating her mother, Engineer Mrs. Mayen Adetiba, whose birthday is today, April 17.
Mrs. Adetiba is the first female Engineer in Nigeria and has held positions in the Nigerian society of Engineers as Vice-president, former board member of the NPDC-NNPC and Nigerian Telecommunications Limited (NITEL) amongst many others.
Kemi, 39, took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to extol the virtues of her mother and thanked her for all her mum taught her and the principles she laid in her heart.
“Happy Birthday, Mommy!! I’m SO proud to call you my mother. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve taught me and the principles you laid in my heart. They’ve gotten me here and will take me even farther by God’s Grace. I’m in awe of every single one of your achievements and how even NOW, you still have the thirst to conquer and achieve MORE. “You’re the greatest role model a girl could EVER have and I can’t wait to make you even more proud. I’m here working every day to beat your insurmountable records, and I’m gonna do it… Cos you would want me to. Legacy!!! Love you beyond measure, “ObongAnwan.” She wrote.
