Mothers Lover! 69-year-old woman who gave birth to daughter’s triplet tells her story
A mother has revealed how she made the astonishing decision at 55 to have three of her daughter’s embryos implanted to help her have children. .
In 2004, Dr Tinina Cade, now 69, from Richmond, Virginia, carried her daughter’s triplets – now 14 – after she’d watched her go through 6 failed rounds of IVF.
In a press conference back in 2005, Tinina said she had been contemplating this possibility since Camille was first diagnosed with endometriosis in 1993.
Although the pregnancy was difficult on Tinina, who had to be pushed around in a wheelchair and could not even walk up stairs, she carried the three babies until they were born seven weeks early in December 2005.
