44 years after, Pastor Nike Adeyemi visits US elementary school, speaks on how decisions determine destiny
Deputy Senior Pastor, Daystar Christian Center, Pastor Nike Adeyemi has been reminiscing on how decisions taken by her parents 44 years ago has shaped her life.
She recalled her childhood days at Cornell School, while leaving in a US neighbourhood with her parents and siblings.
Pastor Nike, who is presently on getaway in the United States with her husband, was teary when she visited the elementary school and neighborhood where she lived in 1975/76 with her parents and siblings, 44years ago.
The visit made her think deeply about how our actions today affect the future of our children adding that decisions do determine destiny or shape it.
“Found it. After teary eyes, I began to think deeply about how our actions today affect the future of our children. Decisions do determine destiny or shape it at least. I called my Dad and said thank you. God orchestrates our journey, yet we can sabotage the greatness intended.
“What did my 8year old self think I would be when I grew up? What opportunities am I giving my own (Found my elementary school and neighborhood I lived in 1975/76 with my parents and siblings on google, 44years after, visited today and revelations are flooding my mind).
