Nigerian actress, Ijeoma Grace Agu is a year older today, June 17.

The award-winning actress clocks 34.

She shared a lovely picture of herself on Instagram on Monday and simple wrote: “Birthday Girl #GratefulForLife.”

The first of five children in a family of Anambra origin, Ijeoma grew up in Benin City and Lagos.

She had her secondary education at Franej International High School Edo state after which she proceeded to Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She is also an alumnus of the Royal Arts Academy, where she was the first student to register at the academy.

Her acting career started on stage in Benin City, Edo State, Nigeria at the age of 14, while still in school, as she participated in drama and stage plays.

She however went into professional acting in 2007 with a role in Fidelis Duker’s TV series “Eldorado.” She came into limelight following her role in Hoodrush and Misfit.

Ijeoma has won many awards for her prowess in the industry including Most Promising Actress in Nigeria at 2014 Best of Nollywood Awards. She has also produced movies of her own.

She got married to filmmaker Daniel Emeke Oriahi in 2014 and is a proud mother of a beautiful daughter.
