Mabel Makun, the CEO of Midas Interior; an interior designing establishment that gained more popularity after weaving its magic in her family new house.

The pretty wife of the popular comedian and movie producer, AY, stated that after unveiling of the house, a lot of people got to see and appreciate her work to a large extent and that sort of helped her gain their trust and confidence.

On how she discovered that interior designing was her calling, she explained that before building a brand name for herself as an interior designer, she has always had an eye for beautiful and organized spaces. “So the moment I ventured into it as a career, everything till date feels very natural and easy,”she said

Speaking about what comes to mind when designing a space, she said “For me,when designing a space,functionality is the key word.

There is actually no need designing a space that is not functional. I also like to celebrate every piece of decorative item,letting every item stand on their own gives room for simplicity and clarity.”

The designer who majored in business adminstration in her university days said that designing a home is a God given talent. She had no time to work for any company because after she graduated, she got married and her concentration was more on building a family before focusing on any career related activities.

Makun further stated that growing her Midas Interior , being a mum and a wife does not come easy.

“It comes with it’s challenging days. Especially when I am working on projects that are locked within limited time frame to deliver. I get super busy,at the same time trying to make sure that all is fine back home. More importantly I have learnt how to manage my time properly and create a balance between work and family over the years. The Keywords that helped to grow my business would be hard work, followed by consistency,dedication and passion for what I do,”she said.

The mother to a beautiful daughter is currently in London furthering her education on the passion that has become her job. This is why she has to say about going back to school on it.

“The world is ever evolving. A lot is changing on a daily basis and so the quest for knowledge can never be over emphasized. I think learning and growth go hand in hand. Developing the habit of continuous learning brings about growth. I decided to study further because I want to Learn new things that would add value to myself and my business.”
