Perfect Red Carpet beauty looks

It is no secret that it takes a lot of work, and a good glam squad to get celebrities red-carpet ready. And while it is always good to know how to recreate an hairstyle or achieve an A-list worthy smokey eye, there are some tips to note to help achieve that red carpet glow.

By using the right skincare products and a few key makeup items, you can get similarly gorgeous red carpet looks, just like your favourite celebrities.

Clear Skin: Cleanse, Moisturize and Exfoliate

Firstly, for red carpet glam, the skin has to be gorgeous and glowing. You can not have a beautiful makeup on a dirty skin. The basic steps to beautiful, clear skin is to cleanse, moisturise daily and exfoliate once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells, revealing fresh, new, glowy skin hiding underneath.

Again, it is important to use high-quality skin care products according to your skin type and follow this basic regimen.

Well groomed eyebrows

Bold brows continue to dominate the red carpets, beacuse a full brow that is slightly darker than your natural brows, helps frame the face. Otherwise, brows can fade out in the flash of a photo. To achieve this look, try a brow pencil or brush to help fill in gaps and brush hair into place so it stays.
Great brows will add immediate dimension and help to sculpt the face, but keeping the look natural is key.

Shimmery Eyes

Let your eyes shine with shimmery shadow. Choose a shade that is close to your natural skin tone.
This way, the effect is less like makeup and more like a sexy, sparkling second skin. Finish up with a few swipes of black mascara and you are good to glow.

Add some highlights

Even the most glowing complexion can always benefit from a little extra boost. Get it with highlighter. After putting on foundation, apply a highlighter on the top of your cheekbones, above the outer corners of your brows, down the center of your nose, and dotted in your cupid’s bow. If you’re wearing a strappy dress or top, you can even swipe a little on your shoulders and collarbone. The glimmer will catch the light beautifully whether you are posing for the paparazzi, or just taking a selfie. For a really glam look, go for a bold lip. Matte lips are a big trend on the red carpet. They add an extra glow to your look.

Nail Detail

A tacky toenail is the last thing one may think of when prepping for a major red carpet, but that is also the kind of thing photographers zoom in on. Get your nails well groomed and polished with added bling for the red carpet.

 Sleek Ponytail

For hair, an understated ponytail can be just as powerful. A sleek look like Toni Tones, is perfect for the red carpet, as long as you keep the roots looking fresh.
Side and centre part hairstyle with voluminous curls are another favourite on the red carpet.

However, it is pertinent to take the shape of your face into consideration before opting for any of these two.
