The founder of Most Elegant Girl in Nigeria and Mr Elegant, Joy Osusu explained that Sara Abdul have modeled for some designers and her knowledge and expertise will benefit the competition, hence her being included as a judge.

Abdul who recently celebrated her birthday with some celebrities in the entertainment industry like Mike Ezuruonye, Faze, Mr 2Kay and a few others, is an entrepreneur, business strategist and the founder of Shamies Foundation, aka. Shamies Unusual Heart Foundation.

According to Sara Abdul, Shamies foundation was borne out of passion, a passion for awaiting trial inmates. “This passion started when I was much younger. My brother was taken away from home by the police and kept in detention for 10 days for an offence he never committed. This was the most difficult 10 days for my family because everyone called him a thief for an offence he did not commit without bothering to find out the truth. Fortunately, the truth later emerged, and he was set free. Since then, I came to the realisation that not everyone behind bars is guilty of the offence that they have been accused of. This passion led to the establishment of Shamies foundation,” she said.

On why she is not an actress, Sara Abdul said, “I am not into entertainment as a full-time profession, though I have several persons in the entertainment industry as friends and associates. Occasionally, I support most of their projects.”

On modelling, Sara said: “Just like every individual, I have my hobby which I indulge in during my spare time and modelling is one of such. It is what I love. If I wasn’t a full-time businesswoman or someone running an NGO, I most likely would have been an actress or a model. I have modelled for some fashion designers at some point. I even did one recently.”
