Ibinabo Fiberesima coming back to movie scene as a movie Director

September 18,2019

One of Nollywood’s finest, Ibinabo Fiberesima has revealed why she has not been on the silver screen for a long time now.
The former beauty queen, who is the director and  organiser of The Miss Earth Pageant for 18 years now, said that she took herself off the movie scene to plan her first movie that would be coming out before the end of the year.
Not only is she co producing the movie, she is the director of the movie too.
Fiberesima, who remains one of the oldest skilled actresses in the industry and the former President of Actors Guild of Nigeria, explained that the movie which she is not revealing the title yet, was shot in her home town Okrika, Rivers state.
“I have been working on a movie with a very different story line. Something that has never been done in Hollywood before. It was shot in my home town, Okrika, Rivers state. So there will be a lot of subtitles because it is in our dialect and in English. We are currently in post production and we will be done soon,” she said
