When St Augustine’s Choir serenade their Patrons

It was an afternoon filled with beautiful voices, raised in songs to God when the St Augustine’s Choir held a musical concert to appreciate the men and women who have agreed to stand by their music group.
The St Augustine Choir which is with the St Leo’s Catholic Church, Ikeja welcomed their new patrons and patronesses. In the same celebration, they honored the old patrons and patronesses who has been with them for a long time.
The choir group which is made up of 60 choristers sang their hearts out in their different presentation to their guests.
Speaking with one of the longest patronesses of the choir, Cecilia Adeyemi said that she has been supporting the group for more than 25 years. She stated that she have always loved their music presentations and the part they play in the church at every mass.
Adeyemi wished the choir group which is made up of young men and women to grow from strength to strength.
The choir mistress, Uzezi Ugbeche said that she is glad that the presentation came out successful.
“It took us a whole day to rehearse and practice. it was not easy, our patrons deserve every bit of it,” she said.
