As days go by, many marriages keep hitting the rocks. It was on this note that a relationship expert and marriage counselor, Agatha Edo shares some of the top issues that shake marriages especially in the first few months.

 

Top 5 advice for a new bride

According to Edo, who was a woman editor and relationship columnist for a top national newspaper, The following are the areas the new bride should pay attention to and be guided.

First, is doing away with the spinster mentality. A new bride is no longer a spinster and has to adjust to sharing her thoughts and decisions with her man.

2. Settling down to studying her man from the perspective of a wife. The reality of being a wife is, she has to live with his every mood and character. Knowing him better would make it easier for the new bride to cope with the depth of her man.

3. Learning to manage her time so his meals are on time and home in perfect condition.

4. Keeping herself as sexy and beautiful: Do not believe he has seen it all and lose yourself. Continue with that beautiful you that he fell in love with.

5. Establishing a prayer routine. As early as the first night the bride and groom groom must learn to pray together. It is absolutely important to connect and stay connected to God
