Busola case thrown out of court

The high Court, Federal Capital Territory sitting at Bwari, Abuja has dismissed the case filed by Busola Dakolo against pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of the commonwealth of zion assembly.

Justice Oathman A. Musa who preceded over the suits   while delivering the judgment held that the matter amounts to injustice and an abuse to judicial process.

He added that the matter is purely empty and  purely sentimental.

According to the Justice, the case is aimed at cruelty other than obtaining justice.

Busola Dakolo was awarded a fine of N1000000 for wasting the courts time.

Busola filed the suit against  Fatoyinbo after alleging that he raped her twice  in 2002 while she was attending his church and caused her emotional distress.

Fatoyinbo  was not in court as he was not required to appear in person in civil matter.

He was represented by his team of lawyers.

Busola  the wife of Nigerian musician Timi Dakolo has said she will appeal the ruling of the high Court.
