Taylor Swift wins 6 awards at the AMA to surpass Michael Jackson
Taylor swift walked into the American Music Awards with 23 AMA wins.
After winning a total of 6 awards she became the artiste with the most AMA award, unseating Michael Jackson with 24.
With eyes always fixed on the prize, Taylor Swift got recognized 6th time in a night for all the works she put in.
The singer performed a medley of her greatest hits in honor of being awarded Artist of the Decade and she kicked it off with “The Man” off her latest album, “Lover.”
During her final speech she said,
“The last year of my life has had some of the most amazing times and also some of the hardest things I’ve gone through. I wanted to thank you so much for being the thing that has been a constant in my life”
Her five albums released during this decade, between 2010 and 2019 – Speak Now (2010), Red (2012), 1989 (2014), Reputation (2017) and Lover (2019) – were all #1 on the Billboard charts.
