Having spent your mid-week at your office and home, thinking of spots you can visit, in order to enjoy a thrilling and exciting weekend in Lagos. There are various destinations in Lagos you can visit. Lagos has that place you can visit for an interesting and fascinating weekend. Whatever your preference is, there are top spots you can visit:

1. Visit a Beach
Lagos is a city surrounded by water; this has made it possible for the coastal city to have numbers of beaches. After the mid-week hustling and bustling in Lagos, there are numbers of beaches to visit like Lekki, Eleguishi, Eleko, Bar Beach, and La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort for a relaxing and hustle free moment. You can also visit Badagry’s coconut beach or Suntan beach.

2. Visit a Cinema
Another wonderful place to spend a fantastic weekend in Lagos is the cinemas. There are various cinemas in Lagos which you can visit. Your choice can be either due proximity or taste. We have Ozone Cinemas, Yaba; Film House, Surulere and Lekki, and Silverbird Galleria in Victoria Island where you can watch Hollywood and Nollywood movies. In fact, some malls have cinemas in them, which will make it possible for you to do shopping while waiting for your favorite movie to start.

3. Visit a Park
There are parks in Lagos where you can enjoy your weekend if you want a fantastic and eventful weekend. Such parks you can visit include Dreamworld Africana in Epe Expressway, Funtopia Water Parks, Apapa Amusement Parks and Hi-Impacts Planet in Lagos Ibadan Expressway. These parks will offer you and your family a thrilling and interesting weekend.

4. Visit an Art Gallery
When you need to spend your weekend socializing and learning about cultural art in Lagos, then the right places to visit are the art gallery. You can visit Nike Art Gallery in Lekki Phase 1, Terra Kulture in Victoria Island and MUSON Center at Onikan. They offer cultural aesthetic exhibition you can attend for an interesting weekend.

5. Lodge in a Resort.
Sometimes, you feel like having an escape from the chores piled up every weekend. You want your breakfast served without leaving your bed. Also, ordering for your favorite wine bottle or food while you relax by the pool. You can board at a resort. There are various resorts in Lagos that offer you exquisite services: Epe Resort and Spa, La manga among others
