Didi and Wig: The Next Hair Trend

It is becoming more common to see women with didi plaits on their head. It is either they used it to wear their expensive wigs or a normal decision of carrying simple style.

Didi style are like the regular cornrows (weaving) except that you are weaving the hair on the reverse. It is then as if you are weaving your hair inside out.

They can be done in any size of moderate beauty.

According to some women, they believed in the simple style for a natural hair growth. Aside it been cost effective ‘Didi’ is generally accepted among all class because it gives room for flexibility as far as hair fashion style is concern.

Didi is a braiding technique and overall, Nigerian hairstyle. This technique is used to stimulate hair growth.

The difference between didi and regular cornrows is that didi braids are inverted braids.

Didi can be done using your hair alone or with attachments like style, whether under your weave on or as a hairstyle.

Many Ladies claims that Didi allows a lot of fresh air to blow on their scalp giving them the opportunity to pull off their wigs wherever and whenever they feel it is necessary, not minding what people thinks of it.

Celebrities and socialites are not left out in the trend, making it more popular among Nigerian women.

According to a statement in an opinion pool reveals that Didi is cost effective and easy to carry because there are no extension.

“Makes me feel vary comfortable, no extensions”

Also speaking with a hair dresser, she reveals that people prefer Didi to other hairstyle this days due to its affordability.

“It’s cheap to make and doesn’t take time”

Many wear Didi Hair style because it give them easy access to their wig.

“It also allows me to wear my wig at ease”.

It becomes an established fact that Didi ‘the Yoruba tribe of Nigeria’ hairstyle will no doubt fade out in the hair fashion style industry.
