In 2019, the ‘Lemonade’ crooner had enlisted a league of Nigerian artistes including Mr. Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Burna Boy, Yemi Alade, Shatta Wale, and Wizkid among other musicians for the project.

On Thursday, Niniola took to her Twitter to share a certificate mailed to her by the Recording Academy, US’ learned body of music professionals renowned for its annual Grammy Awards.

“And the GRAMMY Certificate @recordingacademy just came in the mail today. Thank you, God. And thank you to everyone that has been supporting. Love you all,” she wrote in a tweet.

The talented songstress had written ‘Find Your Way Back’, a song that contains elements from her single ‘Maradona’, and for which she later received an advanced loyalty check back in November last year.

The singer, who doubles as elder sister to Teniola, another vocalist, has carved a niche for herself in the music industry, portraying African aesthetics in several of her visuals.

She had once caused a buzz beyond the shores of Africa after ‘Maradona’, a hit song of hers, was requested on the radio by Drake, a Canadian rapper and record producer.
