13 year old, Claire Mica launches Luxury Bonnets and Durags by Clairlys
Claire Mica is well on her way to building a mega fashion brand as the young girl of 13 decides to launch her fashion brand, Luxury Bonnets and Durags by Clairlys.
She is the only child of her parents but sadly she lost her father when she was two years old and her mom has been the one taking care of her and nurturing her into excellence.
Talking about her journey into her brand she shares, ‘ I’ve been through thick and thin with my mom whom I consider a super woman by all standards. She has raised me in a Godly way and struggles to make sure I get high quality education. I’m so excited to have gotten the idea to start my own brand, Clairely’s BHD with the help of my mom, Now this is me starting a business at age 13. My advice to teenagers and single moms out there is to Believe in yourself, have a vision, challenge yourself and always remember that with God on your side All things are possible.’

For Claire she maintains her Vision is to keep her customers happy with her products while ensuring that everything is perfect because perfection is what she stands for.
She further explained how her concept came to light, ‘ Have you ever seen something so poorly executed you thought, “I could do that way better! “ well that was my motivation. I love my natural hair so much and taking care of it is one thing i can go all out for. One day after treating my hair I went out with my mom in search of a good hair bonnet that doesn’t absorb moisture from my hair trust me my mission wasn’t accomplished. So I decided to get a loan from my mom, did my research on where to get high quality fabrics not minding the price to make sure I achieve “THAT BONNET” and here we are.’
With her new business gradually growing into a big empire one of a promising future and a certainty of success, Claire Mica is one young girl everyone should look out for and follow her growing success story.
