Davido celebrates 9 years of dropping his first song
Singer, songwriter, and record producer, Davido is celebrating nine years of dropping his first song.
Though he rose to fame after releasing “Dami Duro”, the second single from his debut studio album in 2012, the 27-year-old released his first single ‘Back When’ featuring Naeto C and shot by Clarence Peters in London on Oct. 30, 2011.
Davido has promised that next year when he clocks 10 years as a singer, it will be a carnival.
In a Tweet on Friday, he wrote: “Dropped my first song 9 years… That’s crazy! Next year we celebrate 10 years! Trust it to be a carnival!!”
Davido has won many awards for his prowess in the music industry.
