Woman’s Health: What causes miscarriages to happen?

May 18,2020
Share:

After hearing about other women having miscarried one is left wandering “what causes miscarriages?”

There are absolutely so many reasons miscarriages happen and most of them are not within your control.

The effect of miscarrying a child can be long lasting for couples especially the woman.

She’s left asking why did I miscarry despite taking all precautions.

Most times the inability to decipher why that happened leaves a more visible mark and fear.

Miscarriages especially in the early stage is very hard to diagnose what went wrong.

Why Do Miscarriages Happen?

The most common reason miscarriages happen is because of genetic abnormalities in the embryo.

For a human being to form, it requires the unification of two genes and in this process, something might just go wrong.

So many other factors can be the cause of miscarriages, they includes ; Diabetes, thyroid disorder, drug abuse, hormonal imbalances etc.

How Do I reduce My Chances Of Miscarriages.

When it’s chromosomal abnormalities there is absolutely little you can do to prevent miscarrying.

It’s highly advised that a woman fortifies her health all round before conception.

Women who are planning on getting pregnant are meant to consult their gynecologist to review their health or any chronic conditions.

Note that after doing the above, it’s not 100 percent guaranteed that you won’t experience a miscarriage.

A miscarriage most times occurs as a result of factors that are beyond your control.
