While celebrating Fathers Day with the rest of the world, popular Nollywood actress, Uche Elendu had posted a photo of her father and daughter on her Instagram page.

The photo got fans worried and attacking her for posing with her ‘poor father’ without giving him good clothes to wear.

She had shared the photos above and captioned it: ” Happy Fathers day to my Sugar rush, my no1 fan, my driving force, my britico, my first love..your simplicity, wealth of knowledge and humility has taught me a lot,May God bless you for all you do for me and my siblings. You’re the best Father in the entire universe.. You surely will reap the fruits of your Labour Dad. I love you.”

When the negative comments about his looks came popping, Uche Elendu was forced to school her angry fans on the reasons behind her Father’s poor man look.

She wrote

” Let me be petty for once and address comments since it has to do with my precious Dad, my only ATM. As an igbo girl I can not watch you insult my source.
Instagram people and their fake life mentality, that’s why they will keep showing you what you want to see so that when youre pushed to fit in, you will enter Efcc or police or babalawo trap, and they will still mock you.
So I posted a pic I forced my dad to take while seeing me off to leave after my fathers day visit to my family home and someone said “Uche dont tell me that’s your dad with all the money you have”😳😳😳😳🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Me that I’m still paying rent??
