International flights in Nigeria will resume August 29 – Minister of Aviation,Hadi Sirika
The Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika has announced that International flights in Nigeria will resume from Saturday, August 29, 2020.
The Minister took to his Twitter handle on Monday evening, August 17 to disclose the news while thanking Nigerians for their patience.
According to Sirika, flights resumption will begin from Lagos and Abuja.
The Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja.
His tweet reads
”Glad to announce the resumption of international flights from the 29th of August, 2020.
Beginning with Lagos and Abuja as we did with the domestic flight resumption.
Protocols and procedures will be announced in due course. We thank you for your patience ”.
Airport’s in Nigeria were closed in March as part of the measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
