The world has changed with the pandemic and it is important every part of us get on with the program and evolve with routines, especially our beauty routine.
So many of us have wondered how our masks will affect our makeup looks, leaving lines on our faces and on this edition of Allure, we are showing you how to apply your makeup in a way that still comes out attractive even with your masks on.
Begin with hydrating moisturizer:
Understanding wearing a facemask for a longer time can cause skin irritation, it is important to use a heavy hydrating moisturizer that creates a significant barrier between your skin and the mask for as long as you intend to wear it.
Primer & Setting powder:
Apply primer and setting powder to your foundation as a good primer can keep your makeup from smudging under a face mask throughout the day
Make your eyes pop:
With your face already partly covered, you’ll need to make a full impact with the remaining part, and this means focusing and playing with the eyes using shimmery shades of eyes shadows.
Opt for lip balm:
With part of the face, including the lips, covered, splurging on lipstick might reduce and that will be replaced by lip balm to keep the lips, which is also covered, moisturized and protected from being dried and cracked.
