‘Temptation’: Tiwa Savage Enlists Sam Smith

Nigerian vocalist, Tiwa Savage, has featured Sam Smith, an English singer-songwriter, in her latest single titled ‘Temptation’.

‘Temptation’, which was released on Tuesday ahead of Tiwa’s next album ‘Celia‘, was produced in London and recorded in Lagos.

“My whole body leaner closer to you lately/Even though I know it’s wrong/I just give into,” Smith can be heard singing in the romance-oriented Afrobeat duet.

“The shape of your body replays in my mind/The sound of your promises, echo in me deep inside/Crave your attention, it complements my pride.”

The new single comes after Smith featured Burna Boy in ‘My Oasis‘, a song he co-wrote with the Afrofusion star and Jimmy Napes.

While comparing her video for ‘49-99‘ to what fans were to expect of her subsequent works, Tiwa had made headlines when she said she might go naked to beat the record.

“I might just have to go butt naked in my next video, because I don’t know what else I’m going to have to do to top that one! And, just to put it out there, this was done in Nigeria,” she had teased.

“I love the fact that I could present this to the label and say this was done in Africa by Africans, this is what we can do. Imagine when you invest in us even more, you would get amazing work.”
