The garden must blossom

Mr Johnson now weak and old called his two sons and said to them.

I’m too old to farm now and this(farming) has been the source of income to this family.

As a matter of fact, it was from farming I trained you both in school.

Now that I’m old I want you to take 2 parcels of land each, use it to take care of me and yourselves.

They each thanked their father and distributed the land as told.

David employed more hands and cleared the land, ploughed it and waited for rain to come, Daniel did same as well.

Rain finally came and they both sowed their seeds.

The Garden blossomed so well that from afar you can see them green with leaves and looks so wonderful.

Just like David and Daniel , We’ve all been given a parcel of land, that is supposed to take care of us if properly managed.

Our mind is one of the greatest assets we possess. It is the mind that distinguish the BEST from the REST.

The thing about the mind is this, just like the farm as long as rain comes or the environment is favourable, it will blossom.

The outcome of our life is all determined by what goes on in our mind.

What kinda seed are you planting?
Do you constantly weed the not so pleasant things that pops up in your mind?

How well do you guide your mind from attacks from around?

David took his time to weed the farm, when his not chanced due to work and other engagements,he will pay people to help him out.

Daniel totally forgot about his farm, weeds grew there and they both blossom.

David had a bountiful harvest where as Daniel didn’t as weeds out grew the seeds he sowed.

You can either be a David or Daniel, it’s all up to you.

Train your mind so it can be useful to you. It’s only you who can do yourself this favour.

Guide your mind jealously and be on the alert to weed out any unwanted thing. Be it Friends, colleagues, habits or even you.

Cultivate your mind, water it with knowledge and great company.

Let it blossom with the right things and your harvest will be beautiful and bountiful.
