American writer and speaker,Lisa Nichols has advised her followers to not settle as the wait is worth it.

Lisa,54 said this 6 minutes after getting engaged to the love of her life Marcellus.

In a video she posted, Lisa said she is so excited her boyfriend proposed to her because she waited for a very good reason.

She waited for the partner that was meant for her, despite having dated other people she couldn’t go all the way.

Lisa went on to encourage other men and women in an amazing relationship to keep making it amazing.

If you are waiting, don’t lower your bar, keep working on yourself  but most importantly don’t let your future pay for your past, open up to love again, she added.

She emphasized on the need to let go of past hurt, forgiving everyone and loving yourself enough.

According to her this is the best way to giving yourself a chance to happiness again.

Lisa and Marcellus has been friends for over 10 years.

Happy engagement to her.
