Information: All account holders in financial institutions to fill Self Certification Form – Government of Nigeria
The government of Nigeria in a recent publication announced that all account holders in financial institutions are to fill a Self-certification form.
Account holders in financial institutions(banks, insurance, companies) are expected to obtain, complete, and submit Self Certification Forms to their respective financial institutions.
Failure to comply with the requirement needed to complete the form will attract sanctions which may include monetary penalty or inability to operate the account.
The form is in three categories
- Form for Entity
- Form for controlling Person
- Form for individuals.
