THE SILK AND SUAVE COLLECTION FROM ELEGANT ATTIRE: A SILKY AFFAIR

Adeola Esther Olarinde of Elegant Attire has released her brand’s latest collection for men, and we dare to call it a must-have for men who like soft and silky fabrics.

The collection was recently declared available for purchase at the brand’s walk-in store. Adeola, the brand’s founder and chief designer, seeks to use the new Silk and Suave Collection to show men that they can wear and enjoy the softer fabrics that have previously been used to make clothes for women.

The Silk and Suave collection is made from silk and fabrics that resemble silk, such as Viscose and Satin. These fabric choices are based on the fact that they are variations of silk and equally provide some measure of softness, stretch, and silk to the wearer’s skin. The collection has shirts, shorts, and trousers, which are equally available in different styles and colors.

Some of the shirts in this collection have either short or long sleeves or are sleeveless. The short and long sleeves are buttoned down, bishop-neck, or round-neck. These shirts are made with split-back, horizontal back, and darted yoke for choice.

The shirts also have one front pocket, each with a few of these pockets having flaps and a button. A few shirts are made to be waist-length for the wearer, while a few are longer for the men who may prefer longer shirts. The trousers and shorts are darted while a few have inlays on the sides made out of Ankara, Patterned Crepe, or Cotton fabrics.

The trousers and shorts have waistlines that are patterned after adjustable elastic or drawstrings. A few have spaces for belts for the men who would want that choice. The shorts and trousers have pockets, two on the sides and one back pocket. The available colors in this collection are Brown, Black, Green, Purple, Burgundy, and Grey.

Adeola’s skills as an excellent pattern drafter and creative director helped her and her team members make all the stunning pieces in this collection. Adeola ensured that the finishings on the shirts were such that one could easily mistake them for mass-produced shirts. The trousers and shorts are slightly lined with cotton because of the transparent nature of some of the fabrics, especially because of the colors chosen.

We look forward to the brand’s next collection and wonder if it will match up to or supersede the hard work it put into the Silk and Suave Collection.
