Americans Have Elected Their Downfall, Gifty Powers On Biden’s Vitory

Former Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) housemate, Gifty Powers says Americans “have elected their own downfall” by voting for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the 2020 US presidential election.

Biden, Democratic presidential candidate, and Harris, his vice, have been projected winners of the US election by several international media organisations including BBC and CNN.

President Donald Trump had, however, rejected the election results and quashed claims that Biden had won at the polls.

Reacting to the development, Gifty, a 2017 BBNaija housemate, took a swipe at those who backed the Democratic presidential candidate, adding that “it’s a shame that people cannot see the reality in front of them.”

The reality TV star also claimed without any evidence that Biden’s emergence as president means America will consequently be “controlled by the bad guys that are yet to be unleashed.”

“Americans have elected their downfall. It’s a shame people cannot see the reality in front of them. In front of us, the so-called Biden is the president but behind closed doors, the people behind Biden are the president,” she wrote on her Instagram story.

“America is going to be controlled by the bad guys that are yet to be unleashed. It’s a shame how people justify things with their emotions. Let’s see how the world go take end…I still dey watch the Biden.”
