Music: Shina Peters Features In Teni’s ‘My XXXL Life’

Shina Peters, a Juju musician, has made a cameo appearance in the seventh episode of ‘My XXXL Life’, a visual journal showcasing the adventurous life of Teniola ‘Teni’ Apata, a vocalist.

The new episode, which was released on Sunday, opens with Peters dancing carefreely alongside Teni.

Teni’s seventh episode, which also starred Sidney Talker, a comedian, sees her go from a gruelling overnight video shoot in Lagos to a show-stopping performance in Yenagoa, the oil-rich capital of Bayelsa.

The video comes barely days after the singer came through with the visuals for ‘Jo’, which also featured the legendary fuji pop singer and dancer.

The audio for ‘Jo’, which means dance in Yoruba language, was produced by P.Priime while video directed by TG Omori.

Teni’s latest track is off ‘Wondaland’, her highly anticipated album, which would be coming out anytime soon.

Since her incursion into the Nigerian music scene, Teni has continued to pull the weights of fame with her sound.

The talented vocalist started gaining prominence after her single ‘Fargin’ was released in September 2017. She finally had her big break after putting out hit singles such as ‘Askamaya’, ‘Case’ and ‘Uyo Meyo’ in 2018.

Teni won the ‘Rookie of the Year’ at the 2018 Headies and the ‘Best New Artist’ at the 2018 Soundcity MVP Awards.

In 2019, she was named YouTube’s Artiste on the Rise. She was also nominated in several categories for the year’s Headies and the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Teni made her Nollywood debut in the movie ‘Dear Affy‘.
