Wana Udobang recounts how her father made her drink ‘poisonous’ tea
Writer and Poet, Wana Udobang has taken to Twitter to recount how her father forced her to taste a tea, prepared by her mum because his relatives had told him she had poisoned it.
She added that although she now finds it funny, but she thinks the experience has stayed with her for a while though, though it is now currently a family joke that she was going to be sacrificial lamb.
“I randomly always remember my father asking me to drink his tea under duress cos I didn’t exactly like tea as a child.
“Only to find out a few mins later that his relatives had told him my mother put poison in the tea.
“Memories are such a wonderful thing.” She tweeted.
She also revealed that her parents finally went their ways.
“Thankfully, they went their separate ways.”
