‘Why I Can’t Date A Broke Man’ – Sonia Morales
Sonia Morales, an ex-wife of Ik Ogbonna, a Nigerian actor, has revealed why she can’t date a broke man.
The Columbian born model took to her Instagram story on Sunday to share videos of herself answering different questions centered on her life and love issues.
According to her, a man who is broke will not be happy with himself and that will make him find it hard to love anybody because he will always feel insecure in every situation.
“I think the right question is ‘Can a broke man date me?’. Because even if I choose to love you and I say okay let me date you even though you don’t have money, you no go like your own self. So there is no how you will like me,” she said.
“Dating a man that is not happy with where he is in life is so difficult because he is going to project his insecurities everywhere with every single issue that occurs all the time.”
Sonia and Ik got married in 2015 and the union produced a son.
In 2019, Sonia had announced that she and Ik were now officially divorced after several claims by the movie star that they were still together.
