American Rapper, Soulja Boy Sued For ‘Sexual Battery, Assault’

American rapper, Soulja Boy has been sued for alleged sexual battery and assault by his former personal assistant.

According to TMZ, in the lawsuit filed on Thursday, the woman, who was listed under the pseudonym Jane Doe, accused the rapper of repeated assault and sexual battery not long after he hired her in 2018.

She also alleged that the development had started with the ‘Kiss Me Thru the Phone’ crooner sending her unsolicited photo of his penis within the first month.

She said the two eventually got along in a romantic relationship and thereafter moved in with him.

But in the lawsuit, Doe alleged that the rapper started acting violently towards her in January 2019.

Citing one of the instances, the woman recounted how an argument had ensued between the pair while he was driving and how the rapper allegedly pushed her out of the vehicle in the process.

Doe alleged that she was forced to walk five miles back home after the incident.

She further claimed that the 30-year-old singer sexually assaulted her for the first time in February 2019 but “expressed remorse” thereafter by paying her $1,000.

Doe alleged that in May 2019, the rapper, born DeAndre Cortez Way, spitted on her when she approached him about quitting the relationship.

She also said the rapper would “punch, kick and body slam” her because he felt jealous anytime she gets phone calls or social media comments and once threatened, “I should have killed you.”

Doe alleged that the development had continued till August 2020 when she eventually moved out of hhis house after a violent attack she feared might kill her.

She said when she went back to get her belongings the following month, he allegedly raped her again.

The lawsuit claims she was promised $500 per week and was never paid despite working approximately seven days a week for 20 hours a day.

Doe is suing the rapper on multiple grounds including sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress.

But reacting, a representative of the rapper dismissed the allegations.

“Soulja would never put his hands on a female. He wouldn’t beat a woman or put his hands on a woman … this is non-sense!!!” he said.

The ‘Crank That (Soulja Boy)’ singer has faced similar allegations on numerous occasions in the past with the latest of such coming in January last year.
