Bolanle Olukanni shares cheering train ride experience to Ibadan

Media girl, Bolanle Olukanni has been musing over her recent train ride experience to Ibadan from Lagos, and going by experience, it was a worthwhile and reliable trip to take.

Taking to her Instagram on Tuesday to narrate how she try something new instead of taking and enduring the
horrendous journey of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway that’s still under construction, this route is one more people should explore.
She wondered how many things, as a people, we are enduring in life, when we could take another way
Read her experience: “I took the train to Ibadan, and it’s 2 hours and 40 minute journey. I could have driven and taken the roads-its a 1:30-2 hour drive …well that’s if there is no traffic , no trailer broken down -basically no Naija factor. But here is the thing -the road is unpredictable , it’s uncomfortable, it’s chaotic and I wanted to try something new. Although the train ride is almost double the road time, it’s guaranteed to arrive in 2 hours and 40 minutes. It maybe take a longer time but it’s reliable.
“The interesting thing is a lot of people aren’t aware the trains are working and we have all been enduring the horrendous journey of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway that’s still under construction. Whereas there has been another way for sometime. I wonder how many things we are enduring in life when we could take another way. A more reliable way. A possibly longer route but a guaranteed one? #musings.”
