Nigerian socio-political activist, Aisha Yesufu has said she is not linking her National Identification Number (NIN) to her phone. She added that she honestly wants her line to be barred.

The renowned activist in a tweet on Monday noted that she has in the past done all the other accreditation of her line without fail. “I refuse to do this asked for by a man abusive of power he has.” She said.

“Dear Telecom,

Can you please stop reminding me of linking NIN to my phone?

I refuse to do it. I honestly want my line to be barred.

I have without fail done all the other accreditation of my line asked of in the past.

I refuse to do this asked for by a man abusive of power he has.” She tweeted.
