In commemoration of The World Day of Social Justice, actress Tonto Dikeh has been awarded with a nomination certificate for her outstanding role in hunger alleviation, promoting peace and improving sustainability.

The actress shared the news and the award plaque on social media on Thursday.
Commenting on the award, Tonto noted that that it is a wake up call for her to do more and be an active citizen, in ending hunger, which is not only vital for our peace and security but essential for our collective future.
“In commemoration of the “The World Day of Social Justice “ which is a day set by the UN to pursuit social justice for all,as it is the core global mission to promote development and human dignity.
“I was awarded a Nomination certificate for an outstanding role in hunger alleviation,promoting peace and improving sustainability.
“Sustainable development is simply not possible in a world where nearly one billion people are hungry every day. Ending hunger is not only vital for our peace and security. it is essential for our collective future.
“It’s a wake up call for me to do more and be an active citizen.
