Keyshia Cole might be retiring from music soon
Keyshia Cole has announced her retirement from music.
In 2004, she released her debut single “Never,” followed by her debut album “The Way It Is” the following year. Cole has since released a series of chart-topping albums and singles, including 2007’s “Let It Go,” 2008’s “I Remember” and “Heaven Sent,” as well as her sophomore albums Just Like You (2007), A Different Me (2008), and Point of No Return (2009). (2014).
Her most recent album, 11:11 Reset, was released in October 2017 and featured Young Thug, DJ Khaled, French Montana, Remy Ma, and others.
On Wednesday, March 17, the Grammy-nominated singer took to Twitter to declare her retirement from music.
Cole revealed the news in response to fan tweets, one of which reminded her to “stay focused” after the release of her latest single and her iconic Verzuz battle with R&B princess Ashanti last January.
“I’m retiring…” Cole, 39, replied.
