Davido has set a new record by becoming the first African singer to reach 20 million Instagram followers.
Mohammed Salah, an Egyptian footballer, is the most followed African on Instagram. The Liverpool star has 42 million followers on instagram.
Davido’s hit song “Fall” recently became the first afrobeats video to reach 200 million views on YouTube. The song also became the first afrobeat video to reach 100 million and 150 million views on the video-streaming platform.
