SofaThe sofa is the first piece of living room essentials you should decide upon. As the largest piece of furniture in the room, the couch is paramount in setting the tone of your space.

Coffee TableNext, you should purchase a coffee table for your living room. The coffee table can hold your household items throughout the day, including your food for lunch and your coffee in the morning.

TV ConsoleYou’ll need a TV console to hold your television and other media if you watch TV or Netflix. Make sure the design fits the rest of the room.
Arm ChairsIt is important that you have at least one or two arm chairs in your living room to balance out the space and to provide extra seating. Arm chairs next to the sofa make for a cozy spot for chatting with guests.

ChandelierI definitely recommend selecting an overhead chandelier that has at least 4-5 light bulbs to ensure your living room is well-lit! If you have low ceilings, you’re better off going with a flush mount.

AccessoriesObjects that show off your personality can be a great way to infuse some character into a boring living room.
