Donald Trump launches new communications platform to enable him to engage directly with his supporters
After months of being blocked from platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, former US President Donald Trump unveiled a communications channel on Tuesday that would potentially enable him to engage directly with his supporters.
The platform, “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump” appears on www.DonaldJTrump.com/desk.
The platform will allow Trump to upload comments, photos, and videos, and fans will be able to retweet the former president’s posts to Twitter and Facebook; however, the new site will not allow users to “respond” or communicate with Trump’s posts.
