President Buhari returns to Nigeria after a four-day official visit to Paris
After a four-day official visit to Paris, France, to attend the African Finance Summit, President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Abuja.
Buhari flew out of Abuja on Sunday to attend an event in Paris where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron and other world leaders.
The summit focused on evaluating the African economy in the aftermath of the coronavirus pandemic and obtaining relief, especially from countries’ increased debt burdens.
Buhari and Macron are also said to have addressed the rising security challenges in the Sahel and Lake Chad regions and political and economic relations. Buhari, on the other hand, arrived at Abuja’s Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport this evening.
