Why I’ll never kiss in movies – Juliana Olayode

Fair and beautiful Nollywood actress cum author, Juliana Olayode popular for her role in Jenifa’s Diary has revealed reasons she will never kiss in movies, despite the pressure or enticing remuneration.

The busty role interpreter made this known during a talk show hosted by popular Pastor, Kingsley Okonkwo on his YouTube Channel.

Juliana Olayode said: ” The big break came when I did Jenifa’s Diary. I didn’t even prepare for Jenifa’s Diary. At some point, I said I am not going to act again because every time I go for auditions and they audition me, they want me to kiss in a movie and I am  never going to kiss in a movie, I am only kissing my husband. There are some other things they would want me to do in a movie, I am not throwing shades at anybody because I need to state my point clear.”
She stated further, “God deals with us in different forms and we all have our individual relationship with God. I don’t think I should kiss anybody but my husband. Especially because on set, it’s not like you are just kissing once, you do close up shots, long shots, medium shots, all the shots. You are kissing, kissing kissing. And thank God for corona may be now we can still continue kissing. You can kiss if you want to kiss, but it doesn’t stop you from being whoever you are. But that’s just me, I wouldn’t do that. I can’t wear anything showing my body, my breasts, my lap. I am not going to do it. So, I didn’t get people calling me and I just got frustrated”.

“There is this audition I went for and the casting director is also an actor, very popular person. And he said you are not ready to be an actor, how can you say you are not ready to do these, too much restrictions. It was quite embarrassing for me, because this wasn’t a one-on one audition, there were people there. I just left there crying, saying why would he embarrass me like that. I just told my friend don’t send me any audition broadcast”.
