Weird MC shares baptism day picture on social media
Nigerian female rapper and hiphop star, Sola Idowu, popularly known as Weird MC has shared a picture of when she got baptised by immersion, six years ago.
Sharing the picture of how the event went, the 51-year-old stated that she can never forget the day.
She thanked her sister who was there with her on that day, and Daystar Christian Centre for taking her through it.
“I can never ever forget this day six years ago Praise God. Our Faith is WITHIN we also delight in OUTWARD expression. Thank YOU LORD for sending @ayeeshafrique …my sister @teehighonhigh was with me that day. @daystarng took me through it. May our testimony of JESUS CHRIST endure.”
In Christian church, baptism is a rite that symbolises spiritual purification and rebirth.
Weird MC started talking about being born again in 2016.
