Mo Abudu, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, others, make Forbes 100 world’s most powerful women
Nigerian media mogul, Mo Abudu and Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) have been featured in the 2021 edition of Forbes 100 Most powerful Women in the world.
President of Tanzania, Ms. Samia Suluhu Hassan is another African who made the list.
These women were honoured for overcoming the gender barrier to occupy positions previously dominated by the male gender.
Announcing the feat on her official Instagram page on Thursday, Mo, who is the CEO and founder of EbonyLife Group stated that she is being recognized as “one of the most powerful women in global media.”
She also revealed that top on the list was the Ex-Wife of Jeff Bezo, Ms. Mackenzie Scott while Vice President Kamala Harris of the United States was ranked second.
