Nigerian singer, Michael Olayinka, better known as Ruger, recently performed his hit song, ‘Dior’, before Tony Elumelu on the occasion of his birthday.
Elumelu shared footage of himself arriving in a chopper at his office on Tuesday to meet Ruger in the company of his employees.
The singer treated the entrepreneur to some of his hit songs as the scene morphed into a mini birthday party.
In the caption of the video put out via Elumelu’s Instagram page, he described Ruger’s ‘Dior’ as being among his favourite songs at the moment.
“Started off with attending the Commissioning of the @aliko_dangotecon Dangote Fertilizer plant at the Free Trade Zone in Lekki.”
“Then headed straight back to the office to a surprise performance of one of my favourite songs at the moment. I am overwhelmed by all your messages, phones calls, and well wishes. Thank you.”

He gained prominence in 2021 after he signed a record deal with D’Prince’s Jonzing World Record, an affiliate of Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
Ruger released his debut extended play (EP) ‘Pandemic’ on March 4, 2021. ‘Bounce’ became a major hit song from the EP.
